It’s official—polls have closed, the votes are in, and Levelland has spoken.

Voters across the city weighed in on three key races this election cycle: two contested seats on the Levelland ISD School Board and one on the Levelland City Council. With decisions now finalized, here’s a breakdown of the winners and what it could mean for the future of local leadership.


Levelland ISD School Board Results

District 3

The race for District 3 was between Jeremiah Gavina and Mike Stafford—both longtime residents with a vested interest in education and the future of Levelland’s youth.

Winner: Mike Stafford, 54 votes; Jeremiah Gavina, 52 votes.

At-Large Position

In the at-large contest, Kay Franklin and Gary Bridges campaigned on district-wide engagement and student success—each bringing a distinct vision for the board.

Winner: Gary Bridges, 412 votes; Kay Franklin, 137 votes.

Levelland City Council – District D

In the only city council race on the ballot, Michael Stueart and Josh Randol faced off for the District D seat, a role with influence on community development, city infrastructure, and local governance.

Winner: Michael Stueart, 102 votes; Josh Randol, 71 votes.
